When picking flooring for bedrooms, vinyl can be a great choice as it’s both soft and cushioned. It’s also quick to clean and comfortable underfoot, making it an ideal bedroom choice. See our vinyl buying guide to learn more.
With options ranging from sleek stone effect vinyl to more traditional wood effect vinyl designs, you’ll find something to suit your space. With water resistant options, if you’d like to run your bedroom flooring through to an ensuite bathroom, vinyl is a great choice.
Once you have measured your bedroom, you should ensure the floor is cleaned and cleared. Then, you should acclimatise the new vinyl flooring to the bedroom’s temperature. Once acclimatised, align the vinyl before marking and then trimming the edges to fit around the walls. After this, simply make cuts and creases wherever the vinyl meets the skirting boards and corners. Finally, secure it with adhesive to keep it in place once it’s aligned.
