We’re delighted to reveal that Tapi Carpets & Floors has been named the Winner of Best Big Retailer in The Sunday Times Best Places to Work 2026. This prestigious list compiles the UK’s top employers based on responses from employee engagement and wellbeing surveys conducted independently by WorkL.
We’re thrilled to say that, in the anonymous survey, Tapi colleagues achieved an excellent average happiness score of 87% when rating work wellbeing factors such as job satisfaction, information sharing and management confidence. This latest award, alongside the launch of our new brand campaign, continues to strengthen our position as the flooring people you can trust - whether you’re a valued customer or one of the thousands of colleagues helping build the business every day.

Founded by a team of flooring experts in 2015, Tapi is now Britain’s biggest flooring retailer with over 1500 colleagues across our nationwide stores, mobile showrooms, central offices, warehouses, and call centre. In the past 11 years, Tapi has grown significantly but we’ve kept our people at the heart of everything we do. Training and development are central to the Tapi culture.
