Back

We’re sorry to hear you’re experiencing some issues with your Tapi installation. We always aim to provide flooring you can enjoy for many years to come and we’ll do anything we can to ensure your flooring continues to bring you Tapiness.

Hopefully, you can find some information below relating to your issue, but please don’t hesitate to get in touch via the ‘Submit a Request’ button to engage with our Customer Support department.

My carpet is flattening faster than I expected
Don’t panic! It is important to keep maintenance in mind when assessing your carpet as this can greatly improve or hinder the appearance of a carpet over time.

At Tapi, we try and provide useful advice to point you in the right direction to help improve the appearance of your flooring and its longevity so you can enjoy that soft luxurious feel for longer. We have provided plenty of advice on how to properly maintain your new carpets in the Tapi Care guide, supplied via email along with your purchase or available to download here. In particular, please consider the importance of having the right vacuum cleaner for your type of carpet.

I have noticed scratches on my smooth flooring
As with carpets and any other home purchases, prevention is also better than cure. Whilst many of our LVT, vinyl and laminate ranges are scratch resistant and provide heavy durability for footfall, this does not mean they are scratch-proof, and reasonable care must be used when maintaining your flooring.

Pets with long nails, heavy toys, or objects being dropped - and even slightly moving your dining room chair and table - could cause some light scuffs to your new flooring through everyday use. To help mitigate any appearance issues, we recommend using felt pads on the feet of your furniture. We have provided lots of advice on how to properly maintain your new flooring in the Tapi Care guide, which you will have received via email along with your purchase, or you can download it here.
